Phil built the blackboard over a couple of evenings, it's designed with an energetic toddler in mind.
Sebastian watched us use it a couple of times and this Monday morning made a beeline for it and started scribbling away. Success!

Another child brought a doll in a toy stroller. She was kind enough to let Sebastian take it around for a spin. At one point, he stopped walking to watch players on a nearby tennis court. And while he wasn't walking, he pushed the stroller gently backwards and forwards - just like we do to keep him happy (especially when he was very little). we were very impressed with his gentleness.
I asked him if he was practicing to take his cousin on walks. He didn't answer me, but he did smile.
We took this photo roughly 15 seconds after arriving one day. No drop off drama - he always just settles in to play with his friends or read.
